Charred Plastic Film Particle from a Calrod Heater and Wear Metal

The particle in the lower right is a piece of charred plastic film that had not been removed from a calrod heating element before turning it on. The particle in the upper left is a wear metal particle created by a new fan in this industrial shop environment. With reflected light it is easy to see the difference between the two
