Fire Debris in San Francisco Fill and Modern Emissions
This is a combination of old soot stained clay and modern tire wear and heavy equipment emissions in the airborne dust
at the time a black zone of soil being excavated at Howard and Folsom in the earthquake fill area of San Francisco. The tire wear are the three
elongated particles upper left of center. The soot stained clay is at lower right. The stack emission soot is center left. This is from an
environmental tapelift collected at 199 Folsom during the summer of 2012. The buried ships Callao and Panama are reportedly in the area of this
excavation.
