Fire Debris in San Francisco Fill

This is soot stained clay and charred wood in the airborne dust from a black zone of soil being excavated at Howard and Folsom in the earthquake fill area of San Francisco. This is from an environmental tapelift collected at 199 Folsom during the summer of 2012.
